EXPERIENCE

Sr. Art Director | Algorand | 2018 – 2023

I led a team that developed and executed creative initiatives for a brand, creating engaging experiences for customers across platforms.

  • Supervised multi-functional project teams to develop creative and effective brand identities
    through multi-channel marketing

  • Managed projects from pre-through to postproduction, finished art, and delivery working with
    producer and project manager

  • Concepted and created new ideas within established brand guidelines while maintaining visual
    continuity and a consistent voice across several mediums and outlets

  • Worked with strategic planning and account teams across the network to develop and execute
    campaign strategy

  • Managed assigned workflow while directing the work of others

  • Reported progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution

Sr. Art Director | John Hancock | 2012 – 2018

Within the Internal John Hancock Creative Agency led the vision, ideation, and implementation of print, digital, social, and mobile initiatives for the John Hancock brand. 

  • Had Hands on in the day-to-day research, planning, and creative execution of integrated consumer and B2B campaigns for the John Hancock and global Manulife brands

  • Worked closely with copywriters, social media strategists, in-house video teams, UX and technology
    stakeholders, front-end developers, and freelance designers to support general design production.

  • Concepted and created new ideas within established brand guidelines while maintaining visual continuity
    and a consistent voice across several mediums and outlets

  • Managed multiple projects with various deadlines and delivery requirements simultaneously while remaining detail oriented

  • Assisted production managers and creative director in developing creative briefs, timelines, and estimates for concerted work

  • Projects ranged from the annual theme for the Boston Marathon which was adopted by brands and
    organizations across the nation, to B2B campaigns surrounding Insurance, Investments,
    and Retirement products

Sr. Designer  John Hancock  | 2009 – 2012

Collaborated with a team of print designers, web designers, animators, and developers who create solutions for internal and external clients. These solutions ranged from web tools and calculators, email marketing campaigns, microsites, and touch display experiences.

  • Worked alongside the creative director to create campaigns and digital experiences, microsites, social media
    images, online advertising, event and sales collateral, and presentation support including PowerPoint

  • Color-corrected and touched up existing photos/images for both web and print

  • Worked with the social media team on shoots for the company’s social media channels

  • Hand-drawn digital illustrations and animations


Sr. Designer   | Envision Marketing & Design | 2005 – 2008
Successfully directed and implemented all facets of corporate-identity projects, including brand identity, advertisements, print collateral and websites.

  • Facilitated client meetings and conceptualization sessions to brainstorm marketing strategies.

  • Reviewed final layouts with clients; identified ways to enhance products.

  • Managed relationships with production vendors and production artists.

  • Facilitated and provided art direction for catalog photo shoots.
